Since the beginning of the uprising from March of last year, there have been over 17,000 people killed in Syria.  This includes men, women and children.  Hundreds of thousands of people have fled Syria and have become refuges in neighboring countries and millions are still at risk, trapped inside of Syria.  According to reports, there are no safe areas for children in Syria, because the Assad regime will kill anything that is alive, as you can see from the videos and pictures here.  

On the evening Of April 25, more then 90 civilians were killed that including children.  The regime continues to use heavy artillery against Syrian civilians.  

According to the UN, since the beginning of the uprising, more than 10,000 civilians have been killed and more than 300 children been a victim of the regime.  Humanitarian aid is desperately needed as refugee numbers increase due to Syrians fleeing across the borders to Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon.
